甲斐扶佐義とは？
かつての関西フォークのメッカ「ほんやら洞」及び京都屈指のサロン「バー 八文字屋」の経営者であり京都の街の人々を撮り続けている写真家である。

Honyarado has several faces:
Restaurant & Cafe, Library, Live Spot, Book shop and so on and once was mecca for the lovers folk song-movement in Japan, and at the same time base for school of “Oral Poets”, cf. Okabayashi Nobuyasu, Katagiri Yuzuru, Kenneth Rexroth or the like played active part in this space. Hachimonjiya is a haunt of local artists & writers. Kai Fusayoshi is owner of both shops and concurrently photographer.

Expo Kai Fusayoshi “Kyoto inconnu” (by hamasachiu)

Este cartel de Ryuichi Yamashiro para la exposición Graphic ‘55 es un clásico del diseño gráfico japonés: la imagen de un bosque hecha con sólo tres caracteres pictográficos: 木, árbol; 林, arboleda; 森, bosque. Es innecesario aclarar que del primero se derivan el segundo y el tercero, multiplicándolo. No lo es advertir que el número de caracteres realmente pictográficos entre los kanji, y sobre todo de los aún reconocibles de inmediato, es muy reducido y el caso de una imagen que a la vez puede verse y leerse, como esta, es bastante excepcional. El original, en seda, 1052 x 740 mm, está en el MOMA de Nueva York.

Karakuri ningyo: los primeros autómatas japoneses, antecedentes de los robots, tiraban al arco y servían el té en el siglo XVII.
